    MOMs Volunteer Charlotte Auty Wins Award at University of Manchester Volunteer of the Year Awards

    Charlotte Auty, a very involved MOMS volunteer who has led two MOMs workshops this year, took home a commended award at the University of Manchester's Volunteer of the Year award ceremony. We were very pleased with Charlotte's well-deserved win, after a year of outstanding commitment and contribution to MOMs and Widening Participation.     Blackburn Follow-up Event

    MOMs were very excited to return to Royal Blackburn Hospital for a follow-up event to their workshop in November 2016. The workshop reached approximately 60 young people from the East Lancashire area, and was a storming success yet again! MOMs volunteer Charlotte Auty took lead yet again, organising all the volunteers, running many of the lectures, and ensuring that the workshop lived up to it's high standards! #workshop #volunteerstories

    Back in Black(burn)!

    MOMs return to Royal Blackburn Hospital to run another workshop for first year sixth formers in East Lancashire. Nostalgia was at an all-time high as many volunteers were reminded how far MOMs have came in just 12 months. With approximately 40 young people in attendance, MOMs were very pleased to be working yet again with young people from East Lancashire.
